Hi, I’m Connor Foley
Filmmaker, Photographer
My life changed when I was 17 years old, I had major knee surgery which kept me from my first obsession, sports. During that time I had lost what I had loved my whole life, however I found my next love, film.
It quickly became an obsession of mine, and ever since I’ve known I was going to be a filmmaker. I fell in love with how a film could emit such a wide array of emotions through storytelling. But what I fell in love with most about film was the beauty of cinematography and how shots were framed.
The following year I graduated High School and bought my first camera, and applied to film school, it was the start of my journey.
In 2021 I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a BS in Film and Video Production, along with a minor in Advertising and Public Relations.
While in school I was able to be a part of many great productions, such as short films, commercials, photo shoots, as well as music videos. Each of the productions taught me something new that has helped me along my filmmaking journey.
I’ve now worked as a professional for two years and have worked in my different fields. I have worked with companies such as Chipotle, USA Hockey, Biggby Coffee and the Bissell pet foundation as a 1st AC and camera operator. I also worked as 1st AC on a feature length film. I have worked as a product photographer for clothing brands. I’ve been an editor for a podcast series, as well as worked as a social media manger for brands.
I look forward to getting connected with you!
